Electromagnetic Suitcase is a DIY sound instrument, based on producing electromagnetic fields from small objects. It consists of two sets of 2x DC motors and a small computer fan, each of these use a speed controller which allows player to manipulate the sound. The instrument is a result of my long interest and investigation of electromagnetic fields and their use as an artistic material . The instrument has been presented during two 15 minute experimental sound performances, which were focused on the exploration of possibilities of electromagnetic fields in sonic arts.
